Step 1: The Site Visit

When we come to your house, we will gather all of the information about your home's energy use. This will include the use of some specialized equipment such as a blower door, a thermographic imaging or infrared camera, and optionally a duct blower . Click on the links for each item to learn more about what they do and how they work.

We also perform comprehensive combustion safety testing on your furnace, water heater and oven.

We will encourage you to observe and participate in the different tests so that you can see firsthand where the areas in need of improvement are.


The site visit normally takes about 2-3 hours.
